Coopersburg & Liberty Kenworth History
In the 1980s, Donald Metzger opened the original Liberty Kenworth location outside of Philadelphia. Within 10 years, it became necessary to open a second location and Coopersburg Kenworth was born. Located on 25 acres just south of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, we’re easily accessible from I-78 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 476). Coopersburg Kenworth offers new and used truck and trailer sales, parts, a full service department and a body shop.
In 2008, the original Liberty Kenworth dealership was moved to a brand new location in Swedesboro, New Jersey. Liberty Kenworth of South Jersey, offers new and used truck and trailer sales, a fully stocked parts department and a state-of-the-art service department with a quick lube bay. This 15-acre facility sits on Route 322, within 5 miles of I-295, the New Jersey Turnpike, and I-95.

What We Do
Coopersburg & Liberty Kenworth each carry one of the largest inventories of new and used trucks and trailers in the country. Between the multiple dealerships, more than 500 trucks and trailers are available for purchase. New trucks are all Kenworth models, including the K270, K370, T270, T370, T680, T800, T880 and, the legendary W900. Trailer inventory consists of MAC, Transcraft, Trailstar, Trailking, Talbert, Wabash, Utility, Great Dane, Fontaine and more. Our used truck inventory consists of a wide variety of makes and models, including Freightliner, Volvo, GMC, International, Isuzu, Mack, Sterling, Peterbilt, Western Stars, and, of course, Kenworth. We also buy all makes and models of quality used trucks and trailers.

Both the Coopersburg, PA and Swedesboro, NJ dealerships feature service centers for any make and model and factory-trained certified technicians ready to make your service process as quick and painless as possible. Our Coopersburg location also offers full body shop services for any truck needing major or minor repairs.

2022 marked yet another milestone in the Coopersburg & Liberty Kenworth timeline with the addition of Liberty Kenworth of Bristol! The new location, which features a fully stocked retail store, service bays, and on-site warehouse, is at 200 US-13 (Bristol Pike), Bristol, PA. Just 20 miles north of center-city Philadelphia and minutes from the PA Turnpike, the Bristol location will offer an expansive selection of truck parts, store-to-door delivery, and truck service and repairs.
Liberty Kenworth of Bristol’s footprint is an impressive 17,000 square feet. Like its sister stores in Coopersburg, PA and Swedesboro, NJ, the truck parts selection includes thousands of new parts, as well as a wide range of Seats, Inc. seats and WeatherTech floor liners and accessories custom made to fit specific truck models.
