The NJ/NY Truck Replacement Program, run by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ), gives grants to independent owner-operators and carriers to replace their older, high-polluting diesel dryage trucks with newer, cleaner, low-emission vehicles. This is in part due to an overall goal of reducing air pollution and meeting stricter port access rules.
In this article, Gabrielli — together with Coopersburg & Liberty Kenworth — details what the Truck Replacement Program is, who qualifies, as well as the requirements and benefits. Once you’ve read through, you can decide whether it’s the right fit for your business and how we can support you through the process.
